Tryptic was a three-day project for an introductory workshop aiming to explore the kinetic motion that can be generated through coding and physical computing.
Tryptic was a foldable triangular structure that was actuated using dynamixel motors to accurately map the displacement of light captured by a camera. The design was comprised of 6 origami-like triangles that folded based on the linear displacement of the light source, mirroring the movement.
